Crohn's Flare and Stool

I have a question. This is pretty graphic so I just want to warn you. I have noticed that my stools now have like a string like almost dental floss looking thing going through them. It is not white of course but same color of BM which is brown almost getting maroon color. However, I don't think it is blood. It isn't mucus but harder texture. Also, I am having stool sediment in commode almost each time. This doesn't matter if it is mainly liquid or just soft. I am sorry for the ugly nature of this talk. I just think someone out there may understand what I am talking about. I only see this when I am in bad shape with my disease. I haven't seen this string looking thing before though and I have had crohns since 2000. I do have mucus but this is different. Plus, I have been backed up all weekend with what I think was a partial obs. and this morning I got some relief when I noticed this odd stuff. My diet has not consisted of any thing but a tuna salad sandwich sat,. night, a few chips, then on fri some pasta-no meat and bread with salad which tore me up. It really didn't look like lettuce. No other veggies were consumed. I really haven't been eating much at all and some days nothing at all. I have lost tons of weight and was just released from hospital but I am no better if not worse. I don't really have an appetite and stay nauseated. I am not throwing up. I am in major pain right now.
