How much biotin?

Its suppos to be good for hair loss associated with this disease/medication. Ive heard 5,000mcg but I also have a multi that is 100mcg plus you have to consider how much from daily diet.

I take 1 MG of Folic Acid because I'm on Methotrexate and 2500 mcg of Biotin as recommended by my Derm for issues with my nails.

Recommended daily adult amount is 100 mcg's to 500 mcg's. Supplements usually contain anywhere from 25 mcg's to 300 mcg's.

No it is the opposite. The Methotrexate is a folate antagonist so you need the supplement.
