I injured myself while taking pentasa enema - Help!

In my last visit to the GP, I told her that I have difficulties in inserting both the steroid and pentasa enema and she told me it could be fibrotic. Before I could ask about an explanation, something came up and we finished the conversation. I kept thinking of this over the weekend. So, I browsed the net and I found that I should take my meds regularly. I panicked and decided to take the steroid enema. But it was not going in easily and I could only take half of it. The other day, I changed and took pentasa but it was not going in easily, too. I mistakenly I forced it and had severe pain. Immediately after I woke up with severe d and cramps that extended to the ileum. I couldn't have any sleep and am very dizzy. I have severe rectal pain. I can neither stand nor sit. I can't take pentasa suppositories as they usually cause me cramps. My GI is out of reach and I don't know what to do. Any clue?

do you think you perforated your rectum with the enema tip? or maybe just hit a nerve and bruised it? i have never done this before, but i bet your doc would either do a finger exam or want a sigmoidoscopy.

Maybe you could try different positions to see if there's an easier way to insert the enema?

I couldn't sleep at all yesterday as the stabbing pain became severer, I had tenesmus and I needed to have a bm so I inserted a glycerin suppository lubricated w lidocaine and I had a severe burning sensation. I was crying all night and could neither sit nor stand needless to say I couldn't lie down. So I asked to see my GI urgently today. He told me that it's the surgeon's job. Then he called him and the surgeon told him I had an acute fissure and that's why rectal meds were stopped. My GI let me talk to the surgeon and he convinced me that I can't have any surgeries and so I have to apply the cream and bear up w the pain and to see him again on Saturday. My GI seconded him and when I asked for a painkiller, he prescribed celebrex x2. I have always been forbidden to take celebrex. My rectum is really swelling and I have d and vomiting but my GI said I can't take any rectal meds whether enemas or suppositories until my surgeon decides this. I can't imagine that inserting the enema incorectly caused me all this torture:(
