Just had colonoscopy confused

Hi all I've just had a full bowel colonoscopy it went ok had gas and air from start to finish though as bowel had some bad corners . The bowel was clear no nodes or biopsies taken . So that's good . And very happy about that . On my consent form its says I have to go see specialist and a appointment will be in post . Is this the normal procedure my friend had the colonoscopy but never had to go back to see specialist . Why I had the scope was because I had bowel inflamation . So I will have to suffer some more I suppose . Any ideas would be comforting for me thanks in advance michelle

Crohn's can be anywhere in your digestive tract, and the colonoscopy only looks at your colon, or large intestine. Since you are having symptoms, the GI wants to see you to discuss your symptoms and decide if you need more imaging tests in the rest of your digestive tract to rule out Crohn's or to help you with medications for your symptoms. A clear colonoscopy is great news, but if you are still suffering, it's good that the doc wants to follow up with you.

Thanks for reply . Yes good that colon was clear . But could you still have crohns with clear colon the pain that I get in lower right side and toilet trips are no fun . As you know .
