Anyone taking newly approved Xeljanz?

Xeljanz was just approved for rheumatoid arthritis, and has been evaluated for Crohns. I took it in a clinical trial 2 years ago and had good results, but it was just a 4 week trial. I'm wondering if anyone here is taking it for RA or considering for off label. It is an oral medication with huge blockbuster potential - if it is effective for CD and others - because it's much better than getting Remicade infusions or Humira injections.

Just wondering Dave,

Never heard of this particular drug. Is it another anti-TNF?

It's not another anti-TNF.

It's oral, and it's a Janus-Kinase inhibitor. You can google it and learn more.

As far as I know, it's the first Janus-Kinase (JAK3) inhibitor out there. Particularly appealing for people like me who are unresponsive to anti-TNF's.
