I was diagnosed with crohns in June 2012. I've tried pentasa and asacol but they didn't stop my bleeding or other symptoms. I started Remicade in October and have had 3 infusions. My next infusion isn't until the first week of February, but I started bleeding a little today for the first time since I started the Remicade infusions. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a sign that the Remicade isn't working? I very badly want to be in remission as my husband and I were trying to get pregnant when I was diagnosed. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Diagnosed with Crohns December 2011. I started on Remicade January 2012. After my 3 loading doses, I began to bleed again also, about two weeks before my Remicade treatment. My Doctor changed me to every six week treatments and I feel great. Hope this helps!

Hi I used to be on Remicade along time ago. I never had any bleeding. I would talk to your Gi maybe maybe they will have to up your dosage.

Depending on how bad it is, Call the GI's office staff and put a bug in his ear. The six week schedule or higher dose. Make the call if you are not comfortable by the amount of blood, It's communication not whining. I'm off Remicade now taking Cimzia. When it takes it's great.
