Can someone with lactose intolerance take Align probiotic

My GI doctor recommended Align.  But am lactose intolerant.  Have anyone with Lactose Intolerance taken Align?  Thanks.

I got this off the Align website-

I have lactose intolerance. Can I use Align?
Align does contain milk and sodium caseinate (milk protein) and may therefore contain trace amounts of lactose. If you are lactose intolerant, ask a healthcare professional if you have concerns about the use of Align

Hopefully someone will chime in if they have used it with no ill effects.

I am lactose intolerant. I took align before I knew i was lactose intolerant and it actually made me worse. I take digestive advantage lactose defense now. It really helps. It also has a protein. It if you accidentally consume milk it will help you digest the lactose. I can't say for sure that the align lactose affected me and I do have a very severe case of lactose intolerance. Any milk at all and I vomit for two days.

I am very much lactose intolerant.  Even if I take the mutiple Lactaid pills before I eat a slice of a cheese cake, I would be in big trouble.  Thank you for providing the info.
