going from remicade to humari

has anyone had good results changing this medicine, its so hard to get you appointment for the remicade, it just seems like it would be more convenent to get the shots at home , do they work as well.

I went from remi to humira no problem. Didn't do so well with the remi. Stayed on humira for 6 years and now switched to cimzia after I lost effectivness with the humira. Def like the convenience of home although going in and having it all done for you and getting to take a nap and have uninterupted me time at the remi clinic was nice to.

Hi, yes you can go from Remicade to Humira. I have done both.

my insurance covers all my remicade treatment, do you know how it works with humira ?

It might be a pain but once you stop Remicade you may not be able to go back. You develop anti bodies while taking it. I went to Cimzia of some foul up in the insurance paper work for Humira. Think seriously and talk to the GI. He may have a little pull for the schedule.
