Ever feel like your doctors don't take you seriously?

Does anyone on here that has chronic, horrible pain, ever feel like when you talk to your doctors about it they seem to not believe you, or they think it's just because of how long you've been on pain medication, or it's not as bad as you make it out to be? That's how I've been feeling. And it's really starting to make me mad, sad, and all around aggravated and stressed. I just feel like since they don't find anything, they don't believe me, or think it's not as bad as I say. Which is crazy because last year when I had 18 abscesses and a fissure, I was only at an 8/10 on the pain scale. You know?

Hi I would look for a better doctor with better bed side mangers. Its important to have
a doctor whom will listen to you and not ignore you.

Simple answer. Find another Doctor then fire the first. Let him know that for not taking you seriously this is the only positive prognosis. You have to trust the doctor that is working with you, he has to trust what you tell him is true also. Trust, without it what do you have? A pretty poor relationship. Sounds like he's not worthy of your trust with your life.
