Need help picking new birth control!

Hey Everyone!

I am looking at changing my birth control method. I currently am on YAZ birth control pill, and I feel like I take a million pills every week, and was hoping to try something different

I have been looking into the IUD, either the copper one or the hormone releasing one (Mirena).

But I have read that if you have "issues with your immune system" that it might not be right for you. I am currently in remission and do NOT want to do anything to mess with that, and I am afraid that if I stop taking the pill my periods will go back to being awful.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi I have the Implant which is put underneath the skin of your arm and last 3 years so haven't got to worry about taking tablets I haven't had a period while on it (which is a godsend!) IBefore that I was on the depo provero injection for 19 years which was brilliant! had to come off of it because the docs were horrified that I had been on it so long I haven't tried anything else but, i'm sure some other peeps will be along good luck Bevx
