Anyone using LDN and what are your experiences?

My cousin had surgery for CD last july and they took about 5 inches of her terminal illium.  She has been 100% symptom free since then and gained all her weight back, and only takes pentassa 1000mg 3xday.  Her GI is pushing for more hard core drugs like 6mp or imuran as a maintenance drug, but since my cousin has no symptoms and feels perfect, she is hesitant about turining off her immune system without any reason other then speculation CD might come back in the future.

Her GI is open to non conventional thearopy so she wants to ask if she can go on LDN as a maintenace drug.

My question here is, what experiences do people have with LDN?  Any side effects.  

No side effects at all for me but doesnt seem to so the slightest thing for my indeterminate pancolitis, whether in oral or transdermal form. Because it is so cheap, I keep using it and have been for almost 2 years. Thought it nduced an 8 mo remission once but niw I think it was just the natural rythm kf this DD. (Have also tried stopping it- no change.)
