Hi this is my first post here. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 07 and was in remission since 09. I'm in the middle of a flare now but I have a strange sensation almost like bubbling and it moves across my stomach. It's not sore just a small bit uncomfortable. My question is has anybody else experienced this? I feel like I'm going mad!

HI Steph and welcome to HW. Do you think it's gas bubbles? My intestines make all kinds of noised and I can feel a bubbling sensation sometimes.

No it's definitely not gas bubbles it feels like flutters or something it's very strange. I have ibs also could it be that maybe?

I don't know exactly what you are feeling. Maybe mention it to your GI doc at your next scheduled visit. If it is not painful, it probably is just food moving around

I can sometimes feel my intestines spasm, could it be that? Sometimes it's light feeling but not always...
