I'm from the UK, but never had anything like this. It sounds like you're registered with a GP, so not having a GP isn't the problem.
I would just go to A&E at this rate. If they try to persuade you to see an "Urgent GP", or whatever, at reception, refuse. Take something to do, because you'll be waiting for hours, but you will get seen by a doctor eventually.
