they found an easily affordable, reliable, safe, permanent cure for Crohn's?

I'd enlist. I have a rough idea of what I want to do, but I have trouble setting goals for myself and motivating myself to meet them. I think the military could help me solve that problem.

Huh???? I do not undertand what enlisting in the military and a cure for Crohn's have to do with each other

Oh, ok...I stared at that a long time...I must be tired.

For me having Crohn's is a grief process....I've had to give up some dreams/plans and then re-adjust and come up with more realistic, reachable goals....it sucks, I know.

I'd probably eat all the unhealthy food I can find and gain 100 pounds...

No such luck. No cure and once having been dx'd crohns Uncle Sam says no way. Someone posted that recently on this board. Had the link to the regulations.
But if a cure existed, Then I'd wish that the youngest and the very sick got taken care of first. The saying " No matter how bad you have it, someone else has it worse. I'd wait for the others so they could get it first.

I'd probably travel a lot...I haven't been able to because of this DD and I would love to visit some beautiful places besides my bathrooms...oh it sure would be nice to be cured and have my life back.

The very first thing I would do would be to book an ileostomy reversal ASAP. Until they can grow new colons, I'll never be able to have a normal digestive system again, but I can at least do away with a stoma and external bag.

After that, I dunno. Recuperate obviously. But travelling sounds good; I haven't been on a proper holiday in donkey's years: just the (very) occasional weekend away.

Oh gosh, just to be able to live a normal life. I'd probably go back to school and become a medical assistant. I'd also travel, would be so nice to be able to do so without being sick.
