New dx?

Wait for the biopsy results. We're all out of it after a colonoscopy. I'll be honest with you don't think, relax and wait. The thinking part gets us into trouble. We want to think in extremes all good or all bad. A mind is a terrible thing to waste or to drive you up a wall drawing conclusions without information. Give yourself the 2 weeks.

It's quite possible that you're CD is affecting your colon at the moment (crohn's colitis) still different from having UC...

When I first became sick it started on my anus with perianal crohn's skin tags, then moved internally to my rectum, colon and small intestine...after about 2 yrs it cleared up in my small intestine but has remained constant on my anus and in my colon, on and off in my rectum...CD can affect any part of the GI tract from mouth to anus, UC is limited to the colon/rectum.

Ask what your pattern of inflammation is, with CD it's a skipped pattern of inflammation that has healthy tissue amongst it, with UC the entire area will be inflamed...also ask how deep the inflammation goes, with UC it stays on the surface of the lining, with CD it can go through the many layers of the lining.
