Missed a dose of remicade

I've been on remicade for about 7 months or so. I had gotten to the point of taking remicade every two months, but I missed my last dose and now it has been four months. I called in and the nurse scheduled me an appointment for another remicade infusion without saying much, and I've been reading up and there seems to be a lot of issues with missing remicade infusions and possibilty of severe reactions due to antibodies. Could antibodies have built up in the last four months? I'm just really terrified that I'll have a severe reaction, or just that the remicade won't work anymore. I know that my doctor always gives me premeds, so will that really prevent a reaction?

Any answers would help, I'm really freaking out about this.

Just for a further insight. I took remicade/infliximab for 9 months, religiously every 8 weeks. Was a dream.

I came off of it because my consultant "suspected" antibodies after I had a huge flare.

I think it was approximately 1.5-2 years after stopping the infusion, I asked my new consultant if there was any way to be certain I had built anti bodies, so he sent me for a very expensive blood test. Which shows no antibodies :)

I haven't yet restarted remicade I'm holding it in reserve, but even still I do not fear having a reaction. If I can go years without it, I'm sure your infusion will go smoothly!

I had a three month break from January to April this year. Everything was ok, and I'm back to six week intervals.
