Flare - constant greenish D with urgency but not so much blood?(tmi)

Hi,

I'm in a bad flare and lost more than 10lbs of weight in the last 3 weeks even though I need to gain weight.

I constantly have this greenish dark diarrhea that makes my intestine grumble and is urgent but not much blood is found.

Keeping me awake all the time going 6 times throughout the night.

I have no fever but some tenderness around my ascending colon/ileum area.

Feels like everything is being going out from my small intestine even though I dont have much food eaten.

Does this sound like infection? but I have no fever.
Currently don't have insurance and I'm worried that I might have to go to the emergency room.

I don't do well with antibiotics b/c they made me go into a SUPER FLARE mode.

I just started SCD diet on thursday, eating mostly meat/fruit juice...

I need some advice please. Anyone else experience this?

It sounds like you are definitely in a flare and it is so hard when you have no insurance. I think at the minimum you need stool studies to rule out c.difficile or other infections. If that comes out normal, then a round of Prednisone, which isn't very expensive is another option. Can you afford to go to a doctor's visit? It at least would keep you out of the hospital. Try to stay hydrated...it is easy to dehydrate with all that D. I'm assuming you are in the good "ol USA, with our midieval health care system!

Yes I'm in the US lol. I thought i was going to get this flare under control early last week. All of the sudden it got worse.

Prednisone is what I need I guess
