Hi,
I usually post on the Lyme forum, but recently had c. diff., which was resolved (hopefully) by a fecal transplant. I now have some kind of secondary colitis, IBD, or whatever. I will find out when I get a colonoscopy.
So--here's the big question: What kind of diet works best for you? SCD, FodMaps, or any others? Or do you just stay on a Paleo diet? I was really bad yesterday--diet-wise, and I suffered the consequences last night and today. That's why I need a diet
I urgently need to know, as I suffer from gas, bloating, severe constipation, and diarrhea.
I tried Jini's probiotic retention enema, and it works better if I do it on a regular basis. She also has a wild Oregano protocol. If Oregano Oil is antimicrobial, would it cause a resurgence of c. diff.? Whenever I take antibiotics, ANY antibiotics, the c. diff. returns, and I have to do yet another fecal transplant. She recommends an "essential?" diet with a protein powder that replaces essential nutrients. But all the protein powders she recommends include lactose or whey products, and I can't tolerate those.
