I had one of the nurses in my doctors office help teach me. But I have heard of them sending a nurse out to do it too. Nice that you won't even have to leave the house! I was worried about taking my shots with me, I kept them in an ice chest on the way over just in case I had a long wait to see the nurse on top of the drive. This way you can avoid all that. :)

i have been on humira for over 5 years there are two injection sites for you and you should alternate them every dosage. one is just left or right of the bellybutton about 2-3 inches when u inject pinch the skin to raise it and inject into the raised skin.the other sites are on your upper front part of your thigh right in the middle is a good place again pinch your skin and while pinching inject into the raised part of the skin . now there are two types of injection options that i have used one is the humira pen and the other is a syringe both are pre filled . the pen for me is more cumbersome but work most of the time read all instructions carefully when you get your dosage use alcohol wipes always before you inject . and if you have what is called a misfire with the pen ie it does not inject into the body or the pen is damaged in anyway contact your provider and get a replacment. hope this helps p.s I prefer the syringes just because they are easy to use for me.
