Chrons and asprin

I haven't been on in a wile I have had a rocky summer. But several things first my cardio dr is monitoring my heart cause he said sometimes a drop in blood pressure may be the blame for sudden loosing of bowel control, or diaherra. Also since I am topping 50 I decided to add a 71mg enteric coated asprin to my regime. After taking it for about 2 weeks I noticed my symptoms started to decrease, after 4 weeks I noticed they were about gone I backed my pentasa back to 3 times a day. When the dr put me on this monitor I went off the asprin, my symptoms came back with a vengeance, no matter wht I eat it turns to water. I ended up back on chicken broth, so I went back on my pentasa 4 times a day and after I am off the monitor I am going back on the asprin, wonder why the asprin seemed to help my chrons????Does anyone know???

I almost bled to death after taking aspirin for headaches that I was having. I was told to never touch any kind of NSAIDS now. Haven't since 2006, only Tylenol.

Aspirin is more effective for inflammation than Tylenol. Unfortunately, as an NSAID aspirin is also most likely to cause GI bleed - at least eventually - by reducing the clotting factor.  *sigh*  You appear to be caught between the ocean and the deep blue sea.

The bleed is the thinned out blood, by the time you find out that you bleed, you could put your health in jeopardy. You're stomach, intestines, a cut, bruising . Ulcers come to mind.

A glass of red wine , anti ox and good for the heart.
