I have been on humira took my 3rd dose today and I am feeling no better my bowel movements and muscle and joint pain is the same as always. Is there something else wrong? I know I have Crohn's mostly in iadeimen but I really am starting to believe I have fibromialga or something similar as well but both GI and ruemy dr says all the many many blood tests and ct scans xrays and uroulgy tests are normal dispite the fact that several blood tests came back with abnormal markers. I am frustrated and tired of having to work fulltime with the constant pain headaches and the vomiting

I'm sorry for how bad your feeling. I'm also a new member(08/13) I have learned more from this forum than my GI doctor in 25+ years. This is my first reply. I also have had bad reactions to CD meds. Tysabri worked well for 3 years, prior to that pentasa, imuran, methotrexate, and some that I have forgotten never put me in remission. Tysabri infusion worked (had to have premeds) then it was pulled by the FDA then put on remicade and it worked for 3 years. I just had my second dose of humira on 8-21-13. I am feeling better but it i just takes time. Don't give up, your body just needs time to adjust to humira. Please let us all know of your progress. I wish you all the best. Hang in there!

Hi, Humira takes about 3 months to start working in your system.

Just the 3rd shot? Yeah, you haven't been on it nearly long enough to start seeing results. I did start seeing some results early on, but it can take up to 3 months for most people. I'm not at 100%. But besides the day a had a few weeks ago of some abdominal pain, most days I have no pain. No joint pain anymore, and my stools are firm, just a bit on the soft side. Shoot maybe that is normal, not sure I remember what normal is anymore. lol I am getting close to the 3 month mark. My doctor is happy with my progress, but said because I had so much damage in there it could take even longer for things to get even better.

So I'd try to relax and give it the time it needs.

Today my abdominal pain returned (been gone for 6 weeks) the joint and muscle pain and the overwhelming exhaustion is combined to much to handle
