Psoriasis

My sister and a gal I work with get those patches on their legs and arms. My sister will buy a jar of aquaphor and squeezes a tube of cortisone cream into it and mixes it all together. That's what her Dr told her to do. She slathers it on before she goes to bed and it works like a charm. I told my colleague about it and it worked for her too.

If you're not familiar with aquaphor it looks like Vaseline but its water soluble. Any drug store and most big box retailers sell it.

I have psoriasis. There is a chance a psoriasis cream can help, but it should be prescription. If it becomes more widespread then you might have to consider a stronger treatment that your doctor can decide. I have been on biologics, so those have helped a little, but some of them can actually exacerbate the psoriasis. None of them have completely cleared it. I haven't tried anything hard core like methotrexate.

Diet can help too. I avoid refined sugars which helps a lot. I'm sorry you're dealing with it. I hope it doesn't spread. Hang in there.
