I am 24 and was just diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease at the beginning of the year at 23 and Crohn's Disease when I was 16 having my right ovary, right fallopian tube, appendix and part of my large and small intestine. I have high liver enzymes and was told to reduce my pain medication intake (which I am prescribed pain meds, just don't pick them up and take them) and my fast food/fatty food intake which I did stop doing as often and my liver enzymes were a lot higher a few months later. I just found out that PCOS can be linked to Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. Anybody else have these same symptoms and maybe give me an insight on what kinds of treatments I could possibly ask my doctor about
? I am being seen at a military base and a lot of the doctors seem like their heads are in the clouds when it comes to actually helping me out.
Possible Sleep Apnea because I stop breathing a lot in the middle of the night (husband has to wake me up..) I know I have a definite hormone imbalance. So I guess it is just getting me to the right docs!!
