I have some questions about CD and it might sound really ignorant and stupid but I hope you won't take it too bad...

Is it common to bleed?

Is it common to have urgency?

Is it common that the inflammation start from rectum and can go up all the way in the colon?

Does it commonly occur that the terminal ileum stays clear of inflammation?

Reason why I ask is because I experienced above a lot. I was diagnosed with ulcerative Colitis 11 years ago. Yesterday I went to a lung doctor because of chest pain and was diagnosed with Serositis which commonly occurs in Crohns. Some people have suggested that I was misdiagnosed. And there is always the possibility of Crohns-Colitis...

Andrina, you should not apologize. We are all here to help each other. Well, I'll answer based on my limited experience for 6 years and a half as a Crohn's patient. There are others here who have had it for many years and can fill you more in.
I do rarely have bleeding but there are others who have a lot of bleeding. Urgency is one of the symptoms I suffer from as I got proctitis (inflammation of the rectum). Crohn's is known to be present in patches by skipping parts. UC, on the other hand, starts in the rectum and moves upwards. In my condition, I first had Crohn's in my terminal ileum and the beginning of the colon (ileocolitis) then years after I got it in the rectum. Accordingly, it was thought I have indeterminate colitis as I have characteristics of both Cohn's and colitis but some complications made them decide I have Crohn's. Sorry, I'm not familiar what w Serositis.

Serositis is the inflammation of the tissues lining heart and lungs. Painful. I'm glad you're not familiar with it.

Crohn's can be present anywhere from your mouth to your anus. Unlike UC which affects the whole colon but only the inner lining, Crohn's tends to skip areas, but can eat all the way through intestines and cause fistulas, or inflammation can cause strictures or blockages. You can have Chron's in your colon and not in your terminal ileum. Bleeding depends on the location and disease activity. If you go to ccfa.org, you can find some good overview articles.
