surgery, how long after, did anyone have it again?

Crohn's since 1998 I have never had surgery.

just wondering if I had surgery how long it may last until I had to have it again? I know everyone's surgery is different.

but I wanted to hear it from real people. not by reading statistic's.

I had a resection in May 2005. Last flare in July 2005. Pain free since then. I'm on Humira and doing well. Still have to deal with diarrhea though. That won't go away. I really don't have a lot to complain about.

Surgery 1990 and no resection surgeries since. I am one of the lucky ones!

I had the surgery last May and was told 15-20 years was the target time frame. So quite possibly end of life, once and done. that would put me into the 70's.

Right hemicolectomy in 1999 with colostomy reversal in 2000. I had problems with anal fisuta inbetween but stayed clear of big surgery until last year. So a 13 year gap for me.

Right hemicolectomy in 93 next surgery 2009 and then again 2013 x
