I would argue not skipping probiotics -- one free of many of the things that could have things that your intolerant too.(milk, rice, corn, nuts , gluten etc) ..... one is finding if your not intolerant to say milk. second you have to find out if your intolerant to milk, yogurt...
For me. my experience, yogurt was contributing to my crohns disease.. I made SCD yogurt and got 1 trillion when i ate it.. i was intolerant to it... to milk and didnt know it.
I tested at the allergy office... prick test and drank the lactose -- I came up negative---thought i was good.. I felt good eating the yogurt , got all that good bacteria.
In advanced testing at http://www.elisaact.com/nonhc/our-unique-testing-method.asp I found that wasnt the case... my body had delayed reactions to MILK, YOGURT , BUTTER, Lactalbumin,
Lactoglobulin .

Your not going to get any real effect on store bought yogurt as well..... If you choose the yogurt route make your own.. If you guy yogurt with the sugar trash in the bottom you just canceled out any effect you would have gotten.
Look at the yogurt you buy in the store its pasteurized-- what that means as they wiped out everything in it to kill bad bacteria.. they make large pool of it... kill it all then squirt in the bacteria you read on the label.....
