I was on prednisone for almost two months. I have been off of it for 3 days now. My highest dose of prednisone was 40mg. How long should it take for the moon face to disappear? And is there anything I can do to help speed the process?

There isn't anything you can do to speed up the process, but in the coming weeks you should notice the side effects like moon face dissipate. Not sure what the half life of Pred is, but it might take 3-6 months to totally recover from any adrenal suppression.

I agree that a in a few weeks you should start looking more like your old self. I've been on steroids many times and have always lost the moon face. The weight on the other hand....
