I was diagnosed with Crohn's back in 2008 and have been through the gamut of treatments, diet control, etc. It wasn't until I decided to lose some weight that I found a very helpful and inexpensive alternative to some of the meds and diet restrictions that I have had. I watched a Dr. Oz episode and thought maybe I could try Garcinia Cambogia as it has, to my own doctor's knowledge no negative side effects. After about a month of mixing the powder form of Garcinia Cambogia into a glass of water each morning I not only lost weight (25 pounds thus far over a 5 month period) but also realized that I no longer had gas, my stools were firmer and more regular and I lost a LOT of belly fat, and I was a total skeptic. I think that cutting back on white bread and other processed carbs helped, too, but I am able to enjoy pizza, pancakes, etc. in moderation without feeling bloated or like I have to be within inches of the bathroom. I also used to have night time 'accidents' and those have completely stopped, COMPLETELY!!!! So, maybe it is worth a try for you. Good luck and Godspeed!
