I hope you all are well or better.

I am definitely willing to try "bread treatment".

I read that one in my Google news feed a few weeks ago. I've been expecting this "cure" to come up from my acquaintances who feel the need to help. I think Crohn's holds a record for the most cures that well-meaning people pass along. BTW, according to the article, you have to use a particular brand of bread, which I think is in the UK, so the cure is not available to me. Shucks :-(

I posted this on the UC forum, and didn't realize it had been posted there a few days earlier.. So there are 2 threads you may want to check the replies. We also have a guy named Old Mike who is apparently looking into it so he may come up with something interesting, he often does.

Thanks for posting FreddyJ,
Always glad to read about
new treatment options, natural or medical.
It seems according to the article, very unlikely that this will work for anyone, as the bacteria strain has to be a biological match to the individual.
I got the impression that it was almost blind luck that this worked for the guy.
Still, hopefully this idea can continue to be refined.
