Not sure how many of you live on the east coast, but in New York City, I was told that Mount Sinai will be
opening an IBD center with 77 doctors. Also heard they are involved in gene therapy and the role it can help with IBD (crohns) sufferers.
I've said this before and I will say it again, not only would I give my life savings, but also my left testicle for a cure.
Biggest lesson I learned in life is that health > wealth

I just woke up and too foggy to read. I always thought a vaccine is for people who dont have it, and they get the vaccine so they wont ever get it.
does this website say that you can get the vaccine even if you alrady have Crohns? AMAZEBALLLS!

By all indications it should work for those of us with the disease itself as well. Help the immune system see the bacteria and kill the infected cells/bacteria.
Honestly, it really is amazing.
Even if you step back and say hmmm, maybe there's more to it than just this bacteria -but if this can help even say 30% of the people with Crohn's to get back to a normal life, that's unreal. Not to mention bring relief to some with UC and IBS.....
I just wish there was more that I could do to help other than make a donation and such.
I always think to myself- imagine waking up one morning, going to the doctor, getting a shot and in a few days never having symptoms again.......
