Have you been tested for and/or diagnosed with gastroparesis?

I don't mean to be a downer, but check your Crohn's disease is in remission. The 1500 calorie diet might control your symptoms, but controlling symptoms is not the same thing as controlling the disease - as I found out from bitter personal experience. If the bloating is a new symptom, it's worth getting checked out. If upper endoscopies haven't found anything, then ask for a different type of test: colonoscopy, MRI scan, small bowel barium x-ray, etc. The type of test will largely depend on where your Crohn's is located.

Gastroparesis is diagnosed by doing a stomach empty study. Basically, you eat something (mine was scrambled eggs) with stuff in them that the doctors can see on an x-ray, and they see how long it takes to empty out of your stomach.
