Thanks, I spent the last 6 hours in ER. The doctor said all my markers point to stomach inflammation with esophagal reflux. From what they tested, there didn't seem to be any obstructions?. They then told me to make an appointment with my GI to check further in to the stomach and esophagus. ER was pretty thorough on all the basics, and from how I feel, surprisingly, it doesn't make sense that so many things can be so right on those tests, even when I sometimes feel like I'm ready to fall over.
Then I ended up being told I cannot take prevacid once in a while, but need to take it all of the time and that it will heal the stomach inflammation.
I've had D and double D every day for the last 35 years. When I had my surgery, I figured, at last I'll finally see a normal bowel movement. To my disappointment, it never happened because when they removed the end section of the small intestine, it was replaced by another type of diarrhea, bile acid diarrhea, which is with me several times a day, and can disrupt my life just as bad as far as the runs go. How do you tell ER that sometimes bile acid diarrhea which feels very acidic, can be as nasty as crohn's diarrhea?. One can burn your butt out, and so can the other, provided they are bad enough. LoL Too bad though, because sometimes surgery is the answer, it can be beneficial if you are told ahead about the bile issue stuff, you are prepared for it, if it should happen. Not everyone suffers this side effect of surgery. I was never told by any of the doctor's or surgeons before hand, so it was a surprise.
