I realized today that this is a problem we all share, and that my solution may not be very common, at least in the States. So I thought I'd share.

I use a portable bidet, similar to this one. It's not very good as an actual bidet, but it works great in the shower if you don't/cant have a detachable showerhead.

Dirt cheap and no more mooning the showerhead! Hope it helps someone.

OMG Where did you find this? This is exactly what I need right now. I have such a hard time cleaning up because of skin tags.

mine was a gift, but I think my mom got it on Amazon. Search for "portable bidet" and it should come up.

I love my hand held shower and it was not expensive or hard to install lamb if you are looking. BB&B coupons helped too
Like what you posted here a friend had hose thing that attached to the tub faucet to make a sprayer too- I think it was for hairdressers originally

yeah, my parents have a detachable showerhead. it's great. but i live in an apartment and i'm not allowed to modify things.
