Does anyone have a success story for maintaining remission without using pharmaceuticals?
I am disease free (post surgery) and would like to remain so, but without pills.
Herbal regimens, meditation practices, exercise routines...
I want to know what works/has worked for YOU or success stories you've heard of.
Thanks in advance, guys. I'd like to say it's good to be back but... well... you know.

I take imodium almost daily, which rules out Low Dose Naltrexone, which is what my GI wants me to try. Imodium is a quality of life issue for me, so I am not prepared to go without it, as is required to take LDN.
Through 4 years and two pregnancies, I remained in remission after surgery, no meds involved other than imodium.
Emotional life events, and the exhaustion of being a mother to two awesomely active little kiddos have booted me right out of remission and back into the land of bull crap. I had to have surgery to repair a hernia around my ostomy site, and while there they chopped of a couple inches of crohn-ie small intestine.
I don't want pills, even if there WERE any left for me to try. There has to be another way!
