Yesterday, I had a pelvis MRI to rule out perianal fistula. It was the first time I had a dynamic MRI. The procedure was not comfortable as it necessitated straining for 11 times, each time for 15 mins and it entailed a rectal enema.
Since I returned home, I have been very nauseated and threw up. I also had d and a headache.
Today is the second day, I'm very nauseated. Zofran tablets can't control nausea. I hardly do eat to take meds and I skipped pentasa and Imuran as I can't even sip ensure.
Is this the side effect of the contrast they gave me? I think it was in the rectal enema. It reminds me of the contrast of the CT enterocolonography. I had one this year that went on well but the other one before it caused me nonstop vomiting and nausea that lasted for 5 days and my GI put me then on Zofran injections/8 hrs for 5 days.
I hate this nausea.
