Anyone ever on a PCA pump??

So I'm currently awaiting the j-pouch surgery and I'm in the worst pain ive ever experienced in my life. I am so sick every day and in constant extreme amounts of pain. I have lost so much weight that I am home with a PICC line getting TPN. I read about this PCA pump the other day and how it's a controlled Iv that self administers pain medicine. Had anyone ever had to use this?? My doctor has me on 10mg of percocet now but it absolutely does not touch my pain. I have a home health Nurse right now and was just wondering if anyone has had them administer Iv pain meds before. I'm so desperate for relief:(

I've tried delaudid also which hasn't worked. I've taken up to 15 mg of percocet and I still feel nothing from it. The only thing that works is Iv pain meds. I just got out of the hospital last week and I honestly miss it because I was pain free. I am just hoping home health can do something or get approval to administer pain meds
