Pentasa and azathioprine

My DD was diagnosed as UC before and now as Crohns. Is it safe and recommended to take Pentasa and azathioprine together?

I take both together and there is no problem.

There's no problem combining them, but there's also not much, if any, benefit of Pentasa for Crohn's disease.
