Has anyone tried liquid calcium?

Usually Calcium causes abdomianl pain and constipation. I called Solgar and they offered me a new product, which contains liquid calcium and vitamin d. Has anyone tried liquid calcium before?
I was told to take 2 spoons every day.

Hi, I did, it was pleasant to take, but a little messy when pouring onto the spoon. The brand I was taking was a little more expensive than the capsules. Since it was a few years ago, I can't remember which brand I had.
