Lomotil and Questran

I take both of these since February 2014. I had two bowel resections and hsve to take these. The problem is, I still have problems with sudden diarhea. Anyone else like this?

Lomotil has never really helped my diarrhea. Just made me feel tired and dizzy. Immodium works better (if you can have it). I take Questran and it helps a great deal, but if there's still active disease going on, nothing really clears it up completely.
