My 89 year old mother passed away this past Saturday. You may have noticed my absence the past couple weeks. She fell and was in the hospital and then hospice and I was at her side.

I know you will all be respectful of one another. If you see a new member, if you have time, please welcome them. Should there be spam, use the alert button to notify the site administrator. If a thread gets contentious with heated exchanges, please alert the site administrator also.

I shall return soon once I process yet another loss.

Please accept my condolences. I'm truly sorry for your loss. One of those painful times that all of us unfortunately have to face, when a Parent's time comes.

I'm very sorry for you loss. My mother's passing was quite similar - she fell and broke her hip, went through surgery, but died a few weeks later. It's been 4 years and I miss her every day.

So very sorry for the loss of your mother! I know that your mom was a great woman because you are a great person that so selflessly cares for all of us when we need your knowledge and experience.
