That sucks BRelaxed, as much as I like my dietitian I still am having issues, she pointed out though particularly with IBS that it can be either a combination of food and stress or even just one or the other, for me so far my issues revolve around stress, I have no FODMAP intolerance so that points even more towards stress with my IBS issues.
I'll be seeing her at the end of this month, she's suppose to be going over an inflammatory diet for me to aid with future CD flares, she said it won't guarantee keeping me from flaring because as we all know at this point IBD has a mind of it's own but she says it should hopefully (in my severe crohn's case) at least aid with my future flares maybe not being so severe as they were for the last 2 decades, though she also considered the IBS played a huge roll in my severe CD as well since they did coexist together until Humira finally put my CD in remission.
A good dietitian is merely another tool in aiding with bowel issues and that's the way to look at it, no one can fix us as this point until/unless they find an actual cure but taking help where you can find it (good help of course) is better than nothing.
