Does anyone who's done this have any advice for snacks on this plan? I'm really struggling with it. I'm vegetarian about
50% of the time and don't really like eating a ton of protein. I feel sluggish when I do. Practically all the fruits I eat are on the "illegal" list and what's left--grapes, berries, bother my system. I usually have an apple as a snack because it's filling, and often a Larabar, which is also illegal. I can eat some nuts, but since my digestion is so off I've been avoiding them since they seem to make things worse. To make it more complicated, I'm also dairy-free so no cheese for me. I usually make soy milk yogurt, but soy milk is on the illegal list. I tried using coconut milk and my yogurt didn't set. <whine>
Thanks for any tips/suggestions you have.

Are you doing the low FODMAP? That's what my dietitian put me on and for snacks she instructed me to buy "simply bar" as well as plain yogurt (Liberte Greek, lactose free for my lactose intolerance issues, with fresh fruit. Otherwise you can just snack on the allowable fruits/veggies fro snacks.

Yes, the low FODMAP.
Thanks. Will look for the simply bars.
