do binders and fillers affect you like me???????????

Yes!! A good example for me is I can take straight ocycodone but not Percocet which is Tylenol and oxycodone together.. It is the binder that causes me grief. I don't know why but half the battle is recognizing the issue and steering clear if any binders.

YES, YES. Just about all medications gives me the worse side effects. For example, medications containing mesalamine makes me bleed. Fillers as lactose, sucrose, etc. gives me a terrible diarrhea. No Venofer(iron sucrose) for me. the blood pressure gets higher, the diarrhea worse and I get a terrible headache! Apriso gave me eye and nose bleedings. Entocort EC increased the blood pressure in my brain, and as result I have a brain aneurysm. My GI said that this side effect is rare, but it happened to me........and lets not talk about Humira and Remicade! I am a special case, that is what I hear from my doctors. Now I am having kidneys problems as results of the many medications used. (Always prescription medications)


I am a mature woman and suffered from CD for over 30 yrs. Used just about all the med. available for this condition. Now I am considering Fecal Transplant. I am doing research regarding this matter.
