Yes, it can. The Pred should kick in pretty soon. Cipro and Flagyl are both antibiotics, which can have side effects of diarrhea. Some people get good results from them, but I never have. Entyvio is a good med. Some others that are common are Remicade and Humira, which are some of the most effective we have to treat Crohn's. With being on those heavy-duty antibiotics, make sure you are taking a probiotic as well so you don't get c. diff. One of the best ones is Florastor, although it is a bit expensive. Florastor is yeast-based, so you don't need to wait 2 hours before or after an antibiotic dose to take it.
