Hello, I've been reading that medical marijuana can help with crohn's and in tests done it helped 90% of patients.Has anyone tried this? I haven't but anything that will help I want to know more.

I tried it for my IBD without success. I had a similar situation to BRelaxed. It helped me to "feel better" and deal with headaches and side effects of medication. I didn't notice any real decrease in symptoms from IBD.

Yes! I've actually been using regular mj but will be getting my mmj licence next week along with my prescript
ions for a few different strains to aid with my various issues, one of them now being IBS since Humira put my CD in remission, but also for my insomnia and anxiety and a few other things.
MJ is great, it gives me hours of a break from having to use the toilet, and gets rid of pain and helps me not only fall asleep quicker but keeps me asleep all night long for the most part so I can't wait to use the mmj since they can make it so I don't get the head high, just the body issue relief. Last night for example, my guts started bugging me later than usual, close to bedtime and I had 4 trips to the toilet within an hour and a half and my guts were still all gurgling until I smoked my mj as it was bedtime and it instantly stopped the gurgling and gas and anymore urges to "go", it was fantastic!! Truly the bed medicine out there.
If it's available to you, I strongly suggest giving it a try.

I just got my paper work in the mail to start up the process in getting medical mj. I'll be happy if it helps with nausea and pain. I'm not expecting miracles in it helping my Crohn's, but if it did then it's an added bonus.

Look up Coltyn Turner. This kid was on every drug, nothing worked, and now he's in complete remission. From a science perspective, you're going to want to avoid smoking cannabis. Smoke isn't good for you, or your intestines. The cannabinoid receptors discovered in your gut seem to be why many people are put into remission with cannabis. You're going to want to find something with around 1:1 CBD/THC ratio, as you want the benefits of both cannabinoids. Converted into oil is probably the way to go, but i would avoid the Rick Simpson style oils. Personally coconut oil seems like the best option in my mind, let me know if you need some recipes.

Smoking isn't the only option for MMJ, you can do edibles if you prefer.

It's beyond infuriating that I can't get medical marijuana in the UK.
Just absolutely maddened by it. Half the 15 year olds in the country are smoking the stuff, but I don't know anybody who could supply me with it. Even if I did, I'd far rather have a regulated source rather than smoking unknown strains which could have been adulterated with god knows what and risking a police raid on my flat (I'm not being paranoid; there have been a couple of raids already in the 6 months I've been living here).
What's more, the Daily Mail readers of this world will ensure that medical marijuana won't become a reality in the UK in my lifetime. I hope they're very happy and pleased with themselves.

NiceCupOfTea I feel for you... we live in a messed up world when you can be put in jail for using a non toxic plant that could significantly raise your standard of living. BRelaxed have you tried a steady oil protocol? I'm no expert but figuring out the way that the cannabinoids will be best absorbed directly in your gut may help with inflammation. I'd be curious to see what kind of doses they're giving in Colorado. keep in mind that 1 gram of flower at 10%THC/10%CBD is only 100mg of each. I have a would be curious if you were to superdose on CBD up to 1000mg a day and maybe 500mg a day of THC. I'm thinking about
getting more into my crohn's diet but I don't enjoy being high anymore, and definitely don't have the tolerance to function during my day after a heavy dose of THC
