Was supposed to get test results in 2 weeks....

I had a skin biopsy for the nerve issues I have developed....results were supposed to be given to me by 1/25. I got a call with an appointment for 2/18 and still no results told to me! Grrrrr......my confidence in care is waning. Fortunately, the results won't get me any different treatment or care...just confirmation that "yeah that's what we thought". Just frustrated as I am waiting to make GI appointment until I have answers from neuro...I want to take care of my whole body with each doctor. Hoping more care of my CD will ease the RA and neuro issues. sigh........

So, do you think they will have the results for you at your appointment on 2/18? It seems safe to make a GI appointment for any time after 2/18, unless I'm missing something? I do share your frustration though....it seems like I'm always waiting for something or other!!

I hate that. I've had blood work in for a few weeks and my primary is just awful about getting results to you. Thankfully I could look at them online, otherwise I would never know what they said. Unfortunately this time I need him to prescribe RX vitamin D again, and what to do about my high triglycerides (medication he tried didn't help). He didn't want me to make a follow up appointment, so what the heck? So annoying.

did you try to call the nurse? They should be able to tell you the results over the phone if they are in. I hate when they make you wait!

Well technology wins.....I signed up for this online medical chart system a while ago. I just got an email that new test results were posted to my page. Now if I can only remember the password....hmmmmmmm

At least I have a chance of looking at the information and digesting it (pun intended) before I meet with the neuro guy. And now I feel like I can make an appointment with my GI and I will have the information in time before I see him

Glad that you got the results or at least they are there on your mail. Passwords are easy to retrieve even if you've forgotten them.
Hope your appointments w both your neuro and GI go on well.
