When did you feel that Remicade kicked in?

I tried with all my might to believe infliximab (remicade) was working ... But after three months I had a major flare and an emergency admission. Emergency sigmoidoscopy showed no improvement and so I moved onto Humira - which has worked far better for me. The problem is we sometimes hope so much for a drug to work ... We can be far from objective.

Humira has given me my life back... At least for now. And that's good enough for me. I plan to live it up as long as it lasts!

Duffle and Jen, thank you. Definitely, I'm very eager to feel some kind of improvement but I know my body very well. When I first took pred, it took 11 days to kick in. However, Entocort kicked in very quickly. But usually I have to wait till they are about to declare the failure of a medicine when it surprisingly kicks in. I didn't have any luck with azathioprine (generic) and took it for 8 months w/o any effect.
