Miracles,
I've been using combo antibiotics for about 18 months. One of the tricks is that you need to rotate antibiotics every 10-14 days, so I'll take flagyl and Cipro and then I'll go to Augmentin and Cipro, then I'll go to Augmentin and Flagyl. And then I repeat the cycle.
If you stay on one combination too long it can lose its effectiveness. Other people will take an antibiotic holiday for a week or two.
If you are taking high dose antibiotics then you probably should take high dose probiotics in between your antibiotics (like 4- 6 hours after the antibiotics).
You also need to be weary of getting Thrush, which a good probiotic like Florastor helps treat. And a low carb diet helps with Thrush.
