How far up is the RV fistula? Mine is pretty low, but a tampon worked pretty well if I needed it. Does the fistula with the seton still constantly drain a lot? If so, I would be a bit nervous about swimming with it. When I had my seton in my RV fistula, it rarely drained, so I just swam with it. Maybe the Stelara will have helped kick in a bit more? Setons can stay in indefinitely. If you are still draining that much from it, I wouldn't think about removing it at all anytime soon. If you do, it could heal on the outside but not the inside and have nowhere to drain, turning into an abscess. Anyway, what about special ordering some kind of rubber underpants or something? Not very sexy-sounding, but that's all I can think of.
