GI called me a little bit ago. The CT scan showed signs of active inflammation. He's going to get insurance approval for Entyvio.

I hope we've caught it early enough, and the Entyvio can stamp it out quickly and will be side effect free. I'm glad I pushed for further testing. My GI was surprised since my CRP and fecal calprotectin were normal.

I'm relieved to know what's going on, and a bit sad to say goodbye to remission. Helps I'm distracted by running to the bathroom every 5 minutes. Holy cow the barium drink and the iodine contrast might just be more effective bowel cleansers that scope preps!!!

Good luck to with the Entyvio! Let us know how it goes. My dr wants me to try it but I have reactions to so many meds that I'm scared to try another strong one. Hope it works for you!

Sorry about the active Crohn's but at least you know what's going on. Good luck with the Entyvio

Rose--I'm a bit nervous since I've had reactions to almost all the meds I've tried too. I'm trying not to look too closely at the side effects, and hope I do well. I will post after I get started on it.
